For each shot containing a VISUAL EFFECT you must complete a VFX ASSETS sheet. Use these to plan exactly what you will need in order to satisfactorily produce the desired effect.
- SHOT / SCENE : Number the scene according to your shortlist and storyboard.
- LOCATION : This is where you plan to film the shot
- DESCRIPTION : Explain what will happen in the shot
- RAW FOOTAGE : Describe what live-action video will you need to shoot.
- CHROMAKEY : Factor in what, if any, shots will need capturing against a green screen.
- VIDEO ASSETS : Identify any stock video footage you will need, e.g. a flame, explosion, etc.
- VIRTUAL ASSETS : Consider what effects you can generate from within After Effects, including particles, or warp effects, etc.
- MATTE PAINTINGS : Identify any digital photographs you will need to take for compositing later.
